Alex, Rudy and I went to Manti, Utah!
We had a blast visiting family, going to the Beautiful Manti Temple to do work inside, and also visit old neighbors and friends while there.
It was such a 'lovely' weekend.
We stayed with Uncle Roy and his wife and they were so hospitable and kind!
He is my dad's brother. Wonderful people. We went to Church with them too, in their big beautiful tabernacle chapel. Some of the most humble, kind, down to earth LDS members I have EVER met are there. Just amazing.
I even ran into some of the men that excommunicated Bernd and I from the LDS Church, when we lived there in the early 90's, and when Bernd (sadly) no longer wanted to be a member any longer.
They heard my current updated story and were soooooo happy for me and my success of humbling myself and coming back to a place of love, faith, kindness, humility and hope,(and back to joining the amazingly good LDS people)
They beamed with happiness for me, Alex and Rudy. We talked of Bernd and my other children and they were sad for them and said that they would keep them in their prayers.
We even had time to visit the grave site of our dear little one, Michael, whose tiny body was laid to rest in the beautiful cemetery next to the Manti Temple on the hillside.
Also, my sweet old (from the past) neighbor, Ruby Shand, is still ALIVE! (In her 90's)
She is the little old lady who would give Austin (5 years old) yummy sweets everytime he would go over to her house. She was his substitute grandma and he loved her just as much!
It was an amazing and very Spiritual healing 'Road Trip'. (I missed my other boys very much and thought of them often this past weekend, but took pics of the old jacuzzi spa house they were born in.)
Well, back to reality and work (and school for Alex). Pics below
