We had barbeque chicken for lunch.
Our friend Roddy and Bernd cook our lunch on our barbeque. Roddy was one of Bernds business partners for a few years helping Bernd run his Tear-Off roofing business after Silvio Rudy Acosta's no longer was available to help. Rudy had been the one who helped Bernd establish and set up his initial 1st company. The Kartchners were very kind people also. However after a year of empty promises, they too moved on to do other work instead. We continued to stay friends.
I have to laugh, since the girl in these photos with the long blonde hair and red shirt is Lori Pinckney, the girl Bernd had an affair with 3 years later after this party when we both had moved to Manti, Utah.
Funny thing is, she is still my friend to this day. We just keep in contact through Facebook though. She is a bit manipulative, yet is very Christ-like in many ways.
This birthday party was very memorable... and it was a day of MUCH fun and happy memories.
As you see below, Austin is blowing out his candles on his patriotic cake. He looked SO cute. We had invited a few of Austins friends to his party and played Pin the Star on the Flag, and other fun games.
Austin puts Cookie, (he looked like an Oreo cookie) his new puppy, into his car. Cookie was a very active dalmatian, who pushed Austin down often.
We also see Oma and Austin checking out his many Birthday gifts.
