I don't have a picture of me ending up in Stonybrook hospital hemorrhaging the next day, however, this is what happened from all the extra activity that Bernd had us do. I was blessed that it stopped and my contractions stopped and I was released from the hospital with the order of bed rest.
Bernd insisted that we stay and continue with our trip....I decided that if I took it easy, I would be OK, so I agreed. Although I didn't have much of a voice in those days.
Looking back, I still see that Bernd pushed me a little too much again after that, and I started to bleed more, and had to be even MORE careful !
... but then I wouldn't listen to Bernd push me anymore and decided to just rest most of the time, and insisted I be MORE careful, the rest of the States we visited.
We stayed in a nice hotel next to Central Park, in New York, as you can see in the photo.
Then we took off up the Coast to all the coastal states. They were all so beautiful. I was very impressed with the East Coast. Although I was very worried about my health and baby, and had to take it very easy.
The plane trip home was nerve wrecking! I was so worried I'd have the baby on the plane!
It was a fun trip, but worrisome too! ......
