This is the office where she worked inside the 2nd half of her 18 month mission serving the LDS Church and the missionaries of that region. She LOVED every bit of her mission and she said that it gave her incredible peace, comfort and growth during a time when she and my dad Howard, had just divorced a few years previously.
As you see, Jacob was still a newborn and being so adorable. On this same family trip, you see below that we must have headed over to Oma and Opa's house in Ojai CA. shortly before they had their home confiscated by the IRS for Gunther's tax fraud which he had been fighting for the past year.
The last pic on the front page is of my beautiful niece, Amber Lynn McEwen (Susy's oldest daughter) turning 2 years old. She was born on July 21st, the same day as my Oma Smith. (my mom's mom).
Susy may have sent me this photo in the mail. Anyway, Amber is such a cutie.
Here is another pic of Jacob in his matching outfit. Another photo of us as a family, living in Manti, Utah. We are all together in our front yard for this Sunday afternoon photo. We were so happy!
The last one is of Austin and Jordan having their cute 'lemonade for sale' adventure at the front of our Manti home, Summer 1995.
