Austin and Jordan were best of friends, doing lots of fun childhood activities together....
Manti was a sweet, adorable, safe, happy small country town in the middle of Utah. We were fairly happy, even after sadly leaving the LDS Church membership, having family members who were distant and judgemental because of this, and then all the weird 'drama' surrounding the Manti community.
We were raising a small, adorable family of sons and financially we were doing well, and life was fairly good.
The awesome LDS Mormon pageant was held every Summer there in our small town, telling the stories of Joseph Smith and the famous Mormon Pioneers and their trek across America to our lovely State of Utah. It was held on the grounds of the Gorgeous LDS Temple which was only 4 blocks away from our home and we could see this Temple from our north facing Master bedroom second story window. This majestic Temple was breathtaking and so beautiful when it was lite up against the black starry sky every night!
My pregnancy was well under way and I felt healthy and happy most days. We were starting a large garden project in our 1/2 acre yard where we had our own brood of egg laying hens. Life was good.
Those warm, Spring days and nights with fresh, clean, country breezes, adorable toddler feet running through my home, excitement with anticipation of our newest member coming soon to our growing family, the mostly stress free days, and having fun, happy, neighborly friends... were so, so, so magical....
