I work so much.
I like that I have lots to do, but it can be frustrating to not be able to finish it all quickly. My poor body just doesn't work like it used to....
Today I go into the Hospital but it should all go well. I've gone in several times now.
Work has been SUPER busy this year. Lots and Lots of amazing people have come to our Park, into my Museum and gift shop. I meet the most amazing friends, and people, that have the most amazing and fascinating stories to tell. I just LOVE it. They become just like old friends that I haven't seen in life times, yet we instantly share all of our fascinating stories when re-united. I couldn't be MORE BLESSED!!
It really is an AWESOME place to work and play at my job. (and get paid for it)
I meet famous people. I meet intelligent people. I meet common people from around the world traveling through our area. I meet people who have traveled the world and tell me the most amazing things that most people would only dream to hear or do. I meet A LOT of Coloradans!! Many (and I mean MANY) who live near my children...it's wild.
I meet every walk of people.
My most favorite being the young and close families, whose children are so adorable and talkative and full of energy and so happy.
Everyday I am swimming in kindness and love, from happy people, all day long!
This year a Major News Network is doing a Series of Interviews with the whole State of Utah State Parks. My leaders have asked me to be the one Interviewed for our Park. It will be aired on one of our major News Channels, in our State this year.
Im excited, yet a bit nervous.
Should be exciting.
So, be sure to look for me on Statewide TV this year!
Also, I am going to represent our State Park at an University Event this Spring. Should be a fun and educational event.
What else is going on?
Alexander is almost finished with Sophomore year!!
He will be going on some amazing vacations this Summer!
He did very well in School getting all A's and some B's. We are proud of him. He wants to be a 'Trauma Surgeon' and we are excited about this amazing life choice.
We know that Andrew will be Graduating High School this Spring! Wahoo! We are super Happy about this also!!! We wish SO much that we were invited for his Graduation Ceremony, yet we know that Bernd will have misguided and mis-informed bullies waiting to pounce on us, once we showed up. Just like Jordan did, so we can't take that chance of being 'wrongly accused' again. We wonder what University he will go to?
We will just Pray that Andrew has not fallen victim to the malicious lies about us, and will know in his heart just how MUCH we wanted to be there...How much we Love and Miss him... and How MUCH we care about him and his success, and would LOVE to have been there. (tears)
We will just have to celebrate with him some other day in the future, if he so chooses. He is my "bubbie" and my baby, and will always be a part of me, no matter what.
My brother Greg (one year younger than me) has fallen in love with a super nice, cute, and adorable Mormon girl named Camie. They are soooooo cute together.
They make a great couple. I love seeing them together. Although Greg is not a 'religious' person, he really LOVES the Book of Mormon and LOVES the Gospel of Jesus Christ and and Jesus Christ, and together he and this lovely woman are so happy together. It is so sweet.
It really is so fun to see. I am super happy for them!
We are still 'remodeling' two buildings. It is soooo much fun to see our progress and all the beauty we are making. I love it. This year it appears I will have no time for a garden...but how can I resist? I love FRESH veges from my own garden. I have sooo much fun doing one, AND I love to make a beautiful FLOWER garden in my front yard too.
So we'll see.......................
OK I just bought some vegetable plants and flowers at Home Depot today! So I see I WILL have a garden and flower beds this summer!!
I just can't help but have these fun projects going and seeing my accomplishments with this. It will be smaller this year, but it is still rewarding. I am sure that one of these years I will have a BIG garden that will take up my whole back yard. Now that will be loads of work and loads of FUN!!
My surgery yesterday went GREAT, same with Rudy's. We are both recovering well. Funny thing, the nurse scheduled both our surgeries on the SAME day yesterday. Rudy could not walk at first when we left, so I drove home, but today he is back to normal and feeling good. Same with me.
OK, again, Rudy had to visit the hospital again today. This time for an Esophagoscopy and they took biopsies. We will learn the results in 10 days. Hoping all goes well this time.
It's snowing today. The weather is CRAZY! I am thankful that all my vegetable plants and flowers are indoors for now.
