It seemed to come together so effortlessly and easy.
At first I put out my BIG fan blown pumpkin with ghosts that dance around inside it. It is about 6 foot tall. So fun to have on at night.
Then I had lots of orange and purple strings of lights that I decorated the front bushes with. That was beautiful.
Then I was blessed by others with about 12-15 pumpkins (small and large) which I put all over my front porch and they looked so adorable.
Alex carved one. We put a flickering candle light in that one.
Then I had a glass pumpkin on the porch with a light in that one too.
I had fun black and orange garland that hung from my front door.
Oh, I can't forget the fun noise-making and moving stuffed BAT that flew between the house and front tree when it was sensor motion detected. That was great fun.
So the yard was all kinds of adorable this year.
Alex went trick-or-treating with 4 of his best friends. He came home with a big sack full.
Anyway, I (of course) thought of and missed my other children, but now that they are older, I feel that they had a good time without mom anyway and that makes me feel happy and content.
HAPPY HALLOWEEN EVERYONE!! (one of my 'Favorite' celebrations)
